Do a vessels motion analysis for securing the cargo in all upcoming weather conditions
(Results in 24hours).

In transportation the weather plays an important role, where the Ships motion is dependent upon the sea condition.  So we do we cater during a voyage for the variation in sea states. When the weather is calm, cargo can be accused of being over secured, and when the weather is rough, the accelerations of ship motions particularly in heave, roll and pitch have an adverse effect on the costs and occasionally too little securing is applied. The issue is, most solutions are best on basic rules, and not on specific data for the specific vessel, on a specific condition, and specific cargo details.Without this knowledge, alternative securing methods are applied, which will take longer time and the securing and lasing analysis is not guaranteed for all weather scenarios of the vessels changing sea going condition.

Bluntly speaking –
MBM’s method saves time, money & improves safety.
Using our advanced vessel motion system (Software) we determine the actual accelerations that will appear on this vessel. This is achieved by applying real factual weather data for the defined sailing period, route, speed, and duration. This approach allows MBM to define which sea conditions the vessel can sail and at what speed, i.e. reduce to defined speed in certain conditions. Using the data collected the vessel and cargo accelerations can be obtained for the entire route.By defining the parameters and boundary conditions, additional safety is introduced to ensure a safe passage including suitable securing methods. In addition, this method maintains that only the right amount of material, and labor costs, are introduced for this cargo and voyage.

This results from the method and motions analysis can be normally presented within a 24hour work period, including stowage plans, drawings, calculations, and full technical report for all necessary warranty surveyors and classification approval.
